This concert is the conclusion of a complete cycle of the Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin by J.S. Bach. These monumental works showcase the expressive potential of the violin through complex counterpoint, singing melodies and lively dances. In the second program, on March 3, 2024, Francesca will perform the remaining three Sonatas and Partitas, including the imposing Chaconne and the light and graceful Partita No. 3 in E major.
